2025-2026 Up Harley Davidson Low Rider S (FXLRS) and Low Rider ST (FXLRST) Cable and Riser Fitment Guide

If you're upgrading the risers or handlebars on your 2025-Up Harley Low Rider S and Low Rider ST, accurate cable lengths and proper routing are the key to a clean install. At Get Lowered Cycles, we’ve refined our fitment information to help you choose the correct riser height and wiring setup the first time.

Why Cable and Brake Line Fitment Matters

  • Riser height changes your lever position, steering arc and cable routing. Too short and you’ll stress components. Too long and the excess slack becomes messy.
  • Proper lengths create smooth lever action, clean visuals and safe mechanical operation.
  • With the updated Softail chassis on 2025-Up models, accurate fitment helps maintain simple plug and play installs.

Which Cables and Lines Need to Be Checked?

Whenever you change risers or bars, verify the following:

  • Upper clutch cable
  • Upper brake line
  • Hand control wiring, speedometer and turn signal wiring

Reference Cable Lengths for 2025-Up FXLRS and FXLRST

1. Choose your riser height first. Common choices are 6.5 inch, 8.5 inch or 10.5 inch.
2. Select Handlebar and note end rise
3. Install the bars and route cables with smooth arcs and no sharp bends.
4. Turn the bars full left and right to verify nothing binds or stretches.
5. If you're not using the exact risers / bars below then just reference the overall height noted.

1. Risers / Handlebars: OEM

  • Overall: 8"
  • Upper Clutch Cable: OEM
  • Upper Brake Line: OEM
  • Switch Harness: OEM
  • Speedometer: OEM
  • TBW Harness: OEM

2. Risers / Handlebars: OG 8.5" Risers / Mid Bend Bars

3. Risers / Handlebars: Kraus S-One Pro Kit / Kraus Bully Pro Kit

4. Risers / Handlebars: OG 10.5" Risers / Mid Bend Bars

Fitment Notes from the Get Lowered Team

If you're running a pullback plate or a top tree in 2" pullback position, add an additional 2" to above lengths.

Aftermarket bars with extreme sweep may need extra slack.
Fairings, nacelles or relocated switches can also affect fitment and routing.
