S&S HPT496 Cam Kit for Harley M8 Models
S&S Cycle is excited to announce the new HPT496 cam for M8 Models. This all-new cam will be available in chain and gear drive versions, and it is everything you have wanted in a bolt-in cam! The idle lope sounds racy, under power it really starts to sing and, best of all, it makes significant power jumps.
Designed to work with stock or S&S rocker arms and springs, the HPT496 is a very straightforward install. Bolt it in and really wake up your M8! How awake? Well when installed in a 2023 ST117 there was a 29hp gain and 7.8 lb-ft torque gain. When installed in a 2022 Touring 114 there was a gain of 47hp and 22.9 lb-ft of torque. For transparency, both of these bikes have an S&S air cleaner and exhaust. But who bolts in a cam and leaves the airbox and exhaust stock?
