TAB Performance Blunt Force Quiet Inserts for 4" Exhaust
Love the aggressive sound of your TAB Performance exhaust but want to take the volume down a notch? TAB Performance Blunt Force Quiet Inserts provide a simple way to reduce exhaust volume without replacing your existing baffles or changing the character of your exhaust system.
Designed specifically for TAB Performance 4" Blunt Force Slip-Ons and the Redline 2-1 Shorty exhaust, these tip-mounted decibel reducers install directly into the Blunt Force End Cap. The insert works with the existing exhaust configuration to reduce overall sound output while retaining the deep, aggressive tone riders expect from TAB Performance.
The Quiet Insert is especially useful for riders running TAB's aggressive Zombie Baffles who want a more manageable sound level for longer rides, early-morning starts or everyday street use. Because the insert mounts at the exhaust tip, it provides a convenient alternative to removing and replacing the internal baffle system.
In TAB Performance testing on a Harley-Davidson Milwaukee-Eight 117 equipped with a 2-1-2 header and Blunt Force Slip-Ons, installation of the Quiet Inserts reduced measured sound from 93 dB to 85 dB at idle and from 106 dB to 101 dB at 3,000 RPM. Actual sound levels will vary depending on the motorcycle, engine combination, exhaust system, baffle and testing conditions.
Choose a Single Insert for compatible 2-into-1 applications or a Pair of Inserts for compatible dual-muffler Blunt Force Slip-On systems.
Fitment
TAB Performance 4" Blunt Force Slip-Ons: Directly compatible with Blunt Force Slip-On mufflers equipped with the Blunt Force End Cap.
TAB Performance Redline 2-1 Shorty: Directly compatible with Redline 2-into-1 systems equipped with the Shorty muffler and Blunt Force End Cap.
Indian Scout: Can also be used with compatible 2025-Up TAB Performance Scout Slip-Ons when equipped with Zombie Baffles and the Blunt Force End Cap.
Important: These Quiet Inserts will not fit other TAB Performance exhaust tips or end cap designs. Verify that your exhaust is equipped with the 4" Blunt Force End Cap before ordering.
