Upgrade one of the most critical fasteners in your Harley-Davidson primary drive with the S&S Cycle Heavy-Duty Compensator Bolt. Designed for high-output Harley Big Twin applications, this performance compensator bolt provides increased strength, durability and serviceability compared to the factory torque-to-yield fastener.

Unlike the OEM compensator bolt, which must be replaced after removal, the S&S compensator bolt features a reusable design that maintains its strength and integrity through multiple installations. This makes it an excellent upgrade for performance builds as well as motorcycles that may require periodic primary or compensator service.

S&S manufactures the bolt from high-strength 8740 chromoly steel using a cold-heading process for exceptional toughness and fatigue resistance. The threads are formed by rolling rather than cutting, which improves material grain flow, reduces stress risers and produces threads approximately 30% stronger than conventional cut threads. High yield strength and low elongation also help prevent the bolt from stretching under the repeated loads generated by high-performance Harley-Davidson engines.

2007-2013 Harley-Davidson Twin Cam: Fits models equipped with the updated compensator assembly. Also compatible with 2007-2013 Twin Cam models when used with a Screamin' Eagle compensator.

2014-2016 Harley-Davidson Twin Cam Big Twin: Fits compatible Big Twin applications.

2017-Up Harley-Davidson Milwaukee-Eight: Fits compatible M8-powered models.
