Renthal 851 Mid Rise 1" V-Twin Handlebar for Harley-Davidson
Bring Renthal's motocross-inspired performance and control to your Harley-Davidson with the Renthal 851 Mid Rise V-Twin Handlebar. Designed specifically for V-Twin motorcycles using 1" handlebar clamps and controls, the 851 Mid Rise combines a comfortable riding position with a performance-oriented bend that works equally well for everyday cruising, aggressive street riding and club-style builds.
The 851 Mid Rise features a wide 31-5/8" profile with approximately 2-3/8" of rise and 2-3/16" of sweep, providing excellent leverage without placing the rider excessively upright. The result is a balanced bar position that offers responsive steering input while maintaining a natural and comfortable reach to the controls.
Unlike adapting a traditional motocross handlebar to a Harley-Davidson, Renthal's V-Twin bar uses a full 1" diameter design to work with compatible Harley-Davidson controls and risers. The bar is also slotted for internal wiring and features a notched throttle-side end for compatible throttle-by-wire applications, allowing for a clean installation without sacrificing Renthal's performance-focused styling.
A durable black finish gives the 851 Mid Rise a clean appearance that pairs well with performance baggers, Dyna builds, Softails and other V-Twin motorcycles using the compatible 1" control and clamp configuration.
Fitment
Fits a wide range of Harley-Davidson and other V-Twin motorcycles equipped with compatible 1" handlebar clamps and controls.
Throttle-by-Wire: Features a notched throttle-side end for compatible Harley-Davidson throttle-by-wire applications using the traditional notched handlebar configuration.
Internal Wiring: Slotted to allow compatible handlebar wiring to be routed internally for a clean installation.
Important: Does not fit models using Harley-Davidson's newer electronic throttle control system without the traditional notched throttle-side handlebar configuration. This includes 2023-2024 FLHXSE and FLTRXSE, 2024 FLHX, FLTRX and FLTRXSTSE, and 2025 Softail models.
Note: Cable and brake line length, wiring length, riser configuration and control compatibility should be verified before installation. Fitment is dependent on the complete handlebar and control setup, not simply the motorcycle model year.
