New 2016 Harley Roadster Offers 'Garage-Built Custom' Style
Harley is increasingly taking note of what riders are trending toward as their Low Rider S and CVO Pro Street Breakout proved earlier this year. Now, they're bringing a new slant to the Sportster lineup with the freshly debuted 2016 Roadster.

The new Harley-Davidson Roadster is another step toward modern styling - playing off the classics of course. Recycling the best of the old and turning it into a new, modern machine isn't a bad idea.
Harley is paying attention and giving riders what they want. In their words, the Roadster is a "garage-built custom." Sure, many riders will desire to add their own touch to the Roadster, but HD gives those who aren't looking to start from scratch quite a start.
So what sets the Roadster apart? The standard version of the bike arrives stock with a low-profile, two-up seat, a blacked-out engine, dual-disc front brakes (ABS is optional), premium rear suspension, a chopped rear fender and a new dual gauge instrumentation that combines digital and analog styling.

And perhaps the biggest standout feature that sets it apart from the rest of the Sportster lineup is the addition of inverted front forks, which have already earned plenty of online buzz.

As mentioned, many riders will still want to refine the Roadster and make it their own, but Harley gives cafe and custom enthusiasts yet another Sportster that makes for a great launching point.
