The Icon Truant 2 Motorcycle Boots are available in both a black and a brown colorway. We focused on the brown for our review, but both options will give riders a solid look in different ways. The Truant Boots evolved in their second generation from a sportier style to a slightly more buttoned up look. Half sneaker, half moccasin, these boots can handle the road while still maintaining a casual enough look that'll play well off the bike, too.

Taking a look at the exterior details, you'll find a full grain leather upper with a few different panels that are accented by some stylish stitching. The toe box is covered with a reinforced leather shifter pad and moving up you'll find Icon keeps the conservative theme of the shoe - providing a nice, classic style.

The white sole accents nicely against the brown leather and the design works well as a whole. While the black Truant 2's evoke more of a sneaker look, the brown version bring to mind that moccasin boot look that's seemingly never out of style.

Internally, Icon moved from a steel shank construction to an engineered lasting board to maintain protection without sacrificing comfort. Plus, Icon added in D3O ankle inserts for even more protection in an area that can be especially vulnerable.
