Designed as a high-performance replacement for the factory 300mm rotor, this floating rotor helps improve heat management, braking consistency and overall feel while reducing unsprung weight compared to many traditional solid-mount designs.
The DF838FLW uses a high-carbon stainless steel braking surface paired with a stainless steel center carrier for durability and corrosion resistance. Its floating construction allows the braking surface to better accommodate thermal expansion during repeated braking, helping maintain consistent pad contact and reduce the tendency for distortion under heat.
