Upgrade the braking performance and appearance of your Harley-Davidson with the Galfer 11.5" Front Solid Mount Wave Brake Rotor. Designed as a direct replacement for compatible factory front brake rotors, the DF679W combines Galfer's signature Wave rotor design with premium materials and precision manufacturing for consistent braking performance, improved lever feel and dependable stopping power.

Galfer manufactures the DF679W from high-carbon 420 stainless steel that is laser cut rather than stamped for increased precision. Each rotor is individually heat treated and double-disc parallel ground to provide a flat, consistent braking surface while helping resist distortion under demanding braking conditions.

The patented Wave profile adds additional leading and trailing edges across the brake pad surface, helping improve brake response, modulation and heat dissipation while reducing unnecessary rotating mass compared to many conventional full-round rotor designs. The result is a performance-oriented replacement rotor that works equally well on restored Harley-Davidson models and custom or performance builds.

Fitment

Fits select Harley-Davidson models originally equipped with the compatible 11.5" solid-mount front brake rotor.

Touring: Fits select 1984-1999 Electra Glide, Tour Glide and Road King applications using the compatible front rotor mounting configuration.

Softail: Fits select 1984-1999 Softail applications and select 2000-2005 Softail Springer and Softail Standard models equipped with the compatible front brake setup.

Dyna & FXR: Fits select FXR models from the 1980s through mid-1990s and select 1990s Dyna applications, including 1999 Super Glide.

Sportster: Fits select mid-1980s through 1999 Sportster models including compatible XLH 883, XLH 1100, XLH 1200, 883 Hugger, 883 Deluxe, 1200 Custom and 1200 Sport applications.
