The Cycle-Rama CR538 is a new performance camshaft designed as a drop-in option for Harley-Davidson Gen 2 Milwaukee-Eight 117 and 121 engines without Variable Valve Timing. Developed around the proven timing events of the CR484, the CR538 brings that performance profile to newer non-VVT Milwaukee-Eight applications.
While designed as a drop-in cam for Gen 2 117 and 121 engines, the CR538 is also an excellent choice for performance-oriented Gen 1 Milwaukee-Eight builds with cylinder head work and approximately 11.0:1 compression. Cycle-Rama positions the CR538 as the replacement for the CR574, making it a strong option for riders looking for an aggressive performance cam for modified M8 combinations.
