Featuring integrated low beam, high beam, and daytime running light (DRL) functions, the Baja Designs DOT LP6 delivers powerful illumination with a controlled beam pattern designed for public-road use. Six advanced projector optics provide focused light distribution while helping minimize unwanted glare for oncoming traffic.
The DOT LP6 produces 3,480 raw lumens on low beam and 5,280 raw lumens on high beam. Its 5000K white light output provides natural-looking illumination, while the integrated daytime running light is available in your choice of white or amber.

White vs. Amber Daytime Running Lights
The Baja Designs DOT LP6 is available with two daytime running light color options:
- White DRL (18-0001): White daytime running light for a clean, traditional appearance
- Amber DRL (18-0002): Amber daytime running light for a distinctive custom appearance
Both versions feature the same white low-beam and high-beam output. The color selection changes the daytime running light, not the primary headlight beam.

Installation & Wiring Requirements
The universal DOT LP6 requires compatible mounting hardware and an appropriate wiring harness to operate its low beam, high beam, and daytime running light functions.
Important Motorcycle Wiring Note: Baja Designs wiring harness part number 640172 is designed for automotive applications and is not compatible with motorcycles. Harley-Davidson installations require an appropriate motorcycle-specific harness or professionally designed wiring solution.
Universal LP6 mounting brackets are available separately through Baja Designs LP6 Parts Bag, part number 65-0286. Motorcycle-specific mounting kits may use different brackets or hardware.
Before installation, verify that the headlight can be mounted securely, that all wiring functions operate correctly, and that the beam is properly aimed according to applicable requirements.
DOT LP6 vs. LP6 Pro
The DOT LP6 and LP6 Pro are different lighting products. The original LP6 Pro is a high-output off-road auxiliary light, while the DOT LP6 features redesigned projector optics, dedicated high and low beams, and an FMVSS 108-compliant headlight design intended for road use.
If you're replacing a motorcycle's primary headlight, the DOT LP6 is the appropriate version to consider for a street-oriented installation. Always verify the legality and compatibility of the completed installation.

Baja Designs backs the DOT LP6 with a limited lifetime warranty and a 30-day satisfaction guarantee, subject to the manufacturer's terms.
Important: The DOT LP6 does not support Baja Designs' uService lens and optical replacement program. Do not disassemble or modify the headlight, as tampering may void the warranty. Authorized warranty repairs must be handled through Baja Designs.
