Icon and Biltwell Gear Picks
Icon and Biltwell aren’t two brands you would normally see in the same line-up for Harley riders - but we wanted to give it a shot. While Icon has pushed their 1000 line over the years to better suite the needs of harley enthusiasts, they are primarily known for their aggressive street style and bold graphics. Biltwell fans, on the other hand, love the modern vintage style that caters to the old school chopper crowd. We decided to put together a few of our favorites and see how they came out - this is what we came up with.
First up, the Icon Airflite Helmet. This helmet not only looks totally badass, but it’s also pretty versatile.
Icon has a wide selection of graphics for this helmet, but we decided to work with the Matte Black version. They also have a few visors to choose from in either Gloss Black, White or Matte Black to match any helmet graphic you pick.
We swapped the standard face shield for the Matte Black Visor and decided to add Biltwell’s Overland 2.0 Grunt Black Camo goggles. We also replaced the standard goggle lens with their Gold Mirror option. They have other lens and goggle options available as well.

Next up, we grabbed Icon’s Sellout Jersey – it’s doesn’t meet many safety standards. But it’s better then a tee shirt.
For gloves we decided to go with Biltwell's Black/Red Moto Gloves. They’re light weight with plenty of ventilation and feature a synthetic leather palm with a comfortable flex fit - a great option for summer rides.
And last, but certainly not least, the Icon Superduty 5 boots - Urban vibe meets motorcycle safety. The boot features Tectuff® coated leather upper, D3O® ankle inserts and Mid-foot Velcro retention strap.
