Cortech has become a recognized name in the world of power-sports, most notably for producing well designed and road tested gear for many two-wheel segments. They have worked with countless road racing motorcycle athlete's who continue to test the gear and provide feedback to make any adjustments or improvements.

Their newly released Cortech Boulevard Collection features some new pieces that we thought would appeal to newer Harley riders. The collection offers some traditional leather jackets and gloves for both men and women but they also delivered some new jacket and shoe styles. 

Check out some of the pieces we brought into the shop to try on and test out. Overall we were really impressed with the entire collection's fit, function and style.

First up the Skipper Bomber Jacket. This a new style we haven't really seen offered for riders. It's both a protective and stylish bomber jacket that is fully lined with a high tenacity abrasion-resistant mesh called Syncromesh. The elbows and shoulders contain a layer of Dupont Kevlar and are both outfitted with CE level 1 armor, a back protector can be added if desired. It also contains a sewn in Reissa® waterproof liner. Ribbed cuffs, waist and collar plus Ykk zippers and hip and arm pockets - Cortech packed a punch with this jacket - available in Black or Olive.

Another nice piece in the collection is Cortech's Voodoo Wax Cotton Riding Shirt. Made of a 12oz 100% cotton waxed denim material, this shirt is light enough to wear comfortably off the bike but has built in protection should you take a spill.

This shirt also has high tenacity abrasion resistant Syncromesh plus Dupont Kevlar in the Elbow and shoulder impact zones along with CE level-1 shoulder and elbow armor. It also features a well designed and rider friendly snap and zipper main front closure plus 3 interior storage pockets, including dual snap conceal carry pouch. 

This shirt fits really well right from the start. It does have a stiffer feel due to the waxed cotton, but over time it should wear in really well and feel very comfortable while riding. 

Next up the shoes. Cortech released three new pieces of footwear in the Boulevard Collection: The Executive Boot, The Slayer Riding Shoe and the Freshman Riding Shoe. While they share many of the same safety features including Dual-density molded and contoured ankle protectors and anti-twist molded nylon midsole, they all have a unique style that is sure to appeal to almost any rider.

The Executive Riding Boot - 100% Bovine Leather, 3-Layer Hipora® Waterproof breathable membrane, rubbber lugged sole. Available in Black or Tan/Brown.

The Slayer Riding Shoe: Outfitted with leather over Seude lightening bolts. Choose from the all Black or the Black/Tan option. These are a casual riding shoe with protection and style mixed in. 

The Freshman Riding Shoe: Heavyweight Canvas with a Hipora® 3-layer waterproof, breathable membrane. These casual riding shoes are available in an all Black or Black/White option. Casual, stylish and protective.
