Today, we've got the Icon Airflite in the Quicksilver finish, an option that Icon added last year to give a custom silver antiqued look to each and every helmet that features that particular finish. The Icon Airflite also comes in a black and white gloss, matte black and a few graphic finishes, so there are plenty of options.

Now let's dive into the details of the Airflite. The first thing you'll notice is the face shield covers the entirety of the front of the helmet, rather than just the opening of the helmet itself. A centrally located front vent gives you a dimpled mesh look and the shield has cutouts that allow airflow through for breathability.

A pair of vents up top get the air moving through the front of the helmet and flowing through. Then move around to the back of the helmet and you'll find two large exhaust vents - one on each side of the lid, where that air can release.

Internally, Icon incorporates a dark dropdown visor for when you're riding in bright situations during the day.

As usual with an Icon helmet, the Airflite features a comfortable interior - the Hydradry Moisture Wicking Liner will help keep things cool and it simply feels good on your head with a well-padded liner construction.

Removable sideplates on either side help give the shield a seamless look no matter what option you go with - whether clear, smoke or otherwise. A nice upgrade to the Airflite are the metal grommets for the sideplates integrated into the helmet, making for easier on/off compared to previous Icon helmets. Rounding out the features you have a removable mesh chin curtain underneath and a couple earplug stash pockets.
