The Turbine Mesh Jacket from Highway 21 is built for warm weather riding with airflow throughout the entire mesh shell.
It's a lightweight jacket that will keep you comfortable on the road. Look down the sleeve and you'll find an arm adjuster around the elbow area plus adjustable wrist cuffs with button snaps and a zipper opening.
The black reflective piping you see down the left front side of the jacket is matched in the back, as Highway 21 keeps it simple in the style department.
While you've got a comfortable start with the mesh base, the Turbine jacket also provides easy arm movement with shoulder gussets. Down the jacket you'll have a zipper to give you expanded space around your waist as well as a velcro adjuster to tighten or loosen as needed.
A nice bonus feature is that the Turbine ships with a packable internal rain barrier - you can easily bring the shell with you in case you get caught in the rain.
As for storage space, the Turbine has your typical pair of hip pockets in front. Zip open the jacket and you'll also have an internal security zipper pocket plus a velcro Napolean pocket.
The jacket includes basic PE armor in the elbows, shoulders and back. It's very minimal protection, so riders who want upgraded armor should add their own from another jacket or grab a CE approved package.

The jacket fits pretty true to size. Our model is 5' 9" 170 lbs with a 41" chest and wore a size Large. The Turbine jacket is a comfortable option for riders looking for a lightweight summer jacket. While it provides only basic features, it's a solid choice for anyone seeking a good looking mesh jacket that doesn't break the bank.
