3.1 Gallon King Choppers gas tank is perfect for your next Bobber build.

Universal chopper style tank has a right side petcock opening, and a fuel capacity of 3.1 gallons. It has front and rear mounting tabs.
It accepts a 1974 and earlier 3/8" National Pipe Thread style petcock. The two rear holes in the bottom side rear of the tank are for a cross over fuel line and accept a 1/4" National Pipe Thread fuel fitting. Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints. Clean the inside of the tank. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean, condition, and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Check the petcock opening, making sure the petcock can be easily installed. The petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of the petcock. Tank accepts Bayonet style vented gas caps. The tank has underilled tab front and rear for surface mounting on top frame tube.
